From this week’s readings and your own research, summarize what you understand to have been the Constitutional Framers’ goals in writing a constitution creating a limited government. Why was the constitution created? What did they fear? Discuss fully, demonstrating your knowledge of the readings.

Choose any one of the issues (i.e. Full Faith and Credit, Freedom of Association, Freedom to Assemble, Confrontation of Witnesses, Excessive Bail, [but not Cruel and Unusual Punishment, as this is covered in other courses], etc.) covered in these materials. Research the concept and provide a brief overview of case law, statutes, or codes you uncovered in your research.

All discussions must include at least one reference to course materials and at least two other legal references.
